Dr. Nneka D. Dennie is the editor of Mary Ann Shadd Cary: Essential Writings of a Black Radical Feminist (Oxford University Press, 2023) and, after we talked about her book on the New Books Network, we caught up on her other big endeavors. Dr. Dennie is the co-founder of the Black Women’s Studies Association (with Jacinta R. Saffold), as well as Diaspora Discoveries, combining luxury and learning for “nerds who love to travel.”
